Welcome to Get Through
These Terms and Conditions explain how I provide my services and what you agree to when booking or attending a session.

By booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About My Services

I offer virtual support sessions for mothers who may be struggling emotionally, mentally, or practically. Feeling alone, overwhelmed or unheard.


My aim is to provide a safe, understanding space where mothers can talk candidly, share and feel comfortable discussing any experiences they would like. Listening and encouragement so mothers Feel supported, and receive advice drawn from real-life experience.

 

I am not a qualified therapist, counsellor, medical, or mental health professional.
The support I offer is non-clinical and should not be taken as professional or medical advice.

If you are in distress or need mental-health support, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or Samaritans (116 123).

2. Who I Am

I am Charlene Nwaka, the sole owner and operator of this business. I am not a licensed therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or medical professional. My role is to provide support, guidance and advice based on experience, empathy, and general wellness knowledge.

3. Booking and Payment

  • Sessions can be booked online via my website / booking platform.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • All payments are processed securely through [e.g. credit /debit card, Apple pay, Google pay].

  • Prices are clearly displayed before booking and include any applicable fees.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • One-to-One sessions are sold as packages.

  • Packages are non-refundable once the first session has taken place.

  • You may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, are forfeited.

  • All sessions in a package must be used within 12 weeks of the first appointment, unless otherwise agreed. 

 

If I need to cancel or reschedule​

  • I will offer an alternative date/time or provide a full refund for that session.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.

5. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Anything shared during sessions is treated as private and confidential.

  • I will only break confidentiality if:

  • I believe there is a risk of serious harm to you, your children, or others, or

  • I am legally required to disclose information (e.g. safeguarding obligations).

 

All personal information is handled according to my (Privacy Policy), which complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

6. Technology and Access

  • All sessions are held online via Whereby.com

  • You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space for your session.

  • If technical issues interrupt the session, I will work with you to reschedule or continue as appropriate.

7. Client Responsibility

By booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You understand the support provided is non-clinical and non-medical.

  • You are responsible for your own emotional and physical wellbeing.

  • You will seek professional help from a doctor or licensed mental health professional if needed.

  • You are over the age of 18 and attending sessions voluntarily.

8. Disclaimer

  • The sessions and advice I provide are based on personal experience only.

  • I do not offer counselling, therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.

  • You are responsible for your own wellbeing and any decisions you make as a result of our sessions.

  • I make no guarantee of specific outcomes.

 

If you need urgent support, please contact a qualified health professional or an emergency service.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials, written content, and resources provided by me are my property and protected by copyright.
You may not copy, share, or reproduce any material without my written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • I am not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from your use of my services, except where required by law.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

11. Behaviour and Boundaries

My sessions are designed to be a safe, respectful space for open and honest sharing.

I ask that all clients:

  • Treat me and others with kindness and respect

  • Do not use offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language

  • Do not record, photograph, or share session content without permission

  • Understand that my support is life experienced based, not professional therapy

 

I reserve the right to end a session immediately if behaviour becomes inappropriate, unsafe, or disrespectful. In such cases, no refund will be given.

12. Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms and Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in services or legal requirements.
The updated version will always be available on my website with a new effective date.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
