1. Your Rights as a Client

I want you to feel confident and supported when booking with me.
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when and how refunds can be issued for my online support sessions and services.

 

I follow the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 

These rights apply alongside my own refund policy outlined below.

2. My Services

I offer one to one virtual support, group sessions and telephone sessions, providing advice and guidance to mothers who are struggling and seeking emotional or practical support. The sessions are designed to provide a safe space for mothers to talk candidly and comfortably. These services are considered "digital services" or "personalised services" under UK law and are delivered through video calls such as Whereby.com

3. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under UK law, if you buy a service online, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund.

However, this right does not apply once the service has been provided or begun at your request within the 14 days.
Because my sessions are often booked to take place within that time, you acknowledge that your right to cancel ends once the session has started or been completed.

You can still cancel or reschedule with notice, as explained below.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

One-to-One Sessions (Tea & Talk Session)

The one-to-one service is sold as packages.

  • Packages are non-refundable once the first session has taken place.

  • If you need to cancel a future session, you may reschedule it as long as you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered missed and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

  • Packages must be used within 12 weeks of the first session unless otherwise agreed. 

 

If I need to cancel

If for any reason I need to cancel a session, it will always be rescheduled at no cost to you.

Group Sessions (You're Not Alone Circle)

  • You may cancel your place in a group session up to 7 days before the session date for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the session may not be refunded unless your space can be filled.

  • If I cancel a group session, you will be offered a new date or a full refund.

Telephone Sessions (Call & Breathe)

  • The same cancellation terms apply as for one-to-one sessions.

  • If we are disconnected due to technical or signal issues, I will offer to resume the call or reschedule at no extra cost.

5. Technical or Platform Issues

If a session cannot take place due to a technical problem, internet failure, or platform issue on my side, I will:

  • Offer to reschedule the session at no cost, or

  • Provide a full refund if rescheduling isn’t possible.

 

If the issue occurs on your side, please contact me as soon as possible, I’ll do my best to find a fair solution.

6. Refund Method

  • Refunds are made to the original payment method (e.g. Credit/Debit card).

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 working days of approval.

  • I cannot issue refunds in cash or to an alternative payment account.

7. No-Show Policy

If you miss a session without any prior contact, the session is non-refundable.
I will, however, consider rescheduling in exceptional situations (e.g. illness, family emergency).

9. Policy Updates

I may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy occasionally to reflect any changes in my services or the law. The new version will be published on my website with an updated effective date.

A personal message from me 

I understand that life can be unpredictable, especially for mothers navigating challenging times. While this refund policy helps keep things clear and fair for both of us, I also believe in compassion and flexibility. If something unexpected comes up, please don’t hesitate to reach out. As a solo business owner and mother myself, I’ll always do my best to find a solution that feels reasonable and supportive for everyone.
